After spending the past year living with my 91-year-old dad, I began to notice the quiet gaps in available services for seniors — not just in the big, obvious ways, but in the everyday ones. The kinds of needs that often go unmet are not always medical. Sometimes they look like needing a ride, a second set of eyes during a vendor visit, help navigating technology, support before or after a storm, or simply a reason to get out of the house and feel connected again.

What became especially clear to me is that many seniors are not only managing practical tasks — they are also navigating loneliness, overwhelm, and a lack of truly thoughtful support.
